Cylinder Print Project
This project involved designing and producing a printed graphic on cylindrical glassware, along with a custom-designed package to hold and display the finished product. The process moved from hand-drawn concept sketches to digital layout and finally to physical production.
Part 1: Creating the sketches
The project began with an initial concept sketch. This stage is used to see how the design will look when it is put together.
Part 2: Creating the digital design
After refining the sketches, the artwork was recreated digitally in Adobe Illustrator. The designs were placed into precise production templates for both the glass cylinder and the folding box. This stage ensured that the files were correctly sized, had bleed, were properly aligned, and had accurate placement before being sent to print.
Part 3: Creating the final print
The final stage involved printing the box design, cutting and assembling the package, and applying the artwork to the cylindrical glassware. The finished piece showcases the full design system, both packaging and product, working together as a cohesive final deliverable.
